About Guoping Lu

Mr. Guoping Lu is a nationally acclaimed scenic designer at the Shanghai Children’s Art Theater, holding a National Grade-One certification. His career boasts numerous accolades from esteemed institutions such as the Ministry of Culture of China and various national and municipal awards in Shanghai.

With a diverse portfolio spanning television drama scripting, art direction, and spearheading scenic and costume design for prominent events like the China Agricultural Games and International Children’s Art Festival, Land Guoping has earned a reputation for excellence. Notably, he has designed floats for Shanghai’s Tourism Festival, consistently winning prestigious awards.

For over a decade, he served as project manager for major exhibitions at the Shanghai Museum, including the Egyptian Exhibition series, showcasing his expertise in exhibition production.

Moreover, Guoping has contributed his creative talent to commercial enterprises such as Shanghai’s No1 Yaohan department store and Shanghai Fashion Company, leaving a significant imprint on the local landscape through advertising campaigns and public space installations.

In 2014, he relocated to Australia, embarking on a prolific journey in landscape painting and figurative sketches. His art, a harmonious blend of semi-realism and abstraction, reflects profound insights inspired by both Eastern and Western traditions.
